The Pilates principles are designed to transform your body, strengthen your core and connect your mind and body.

Joseph Pilates created this system of exercises early in his life and subsequently transformed the lives and bodies of untold people.  The Pilates principles are designed to be used in tandem with your current fitness routines. Pilates complements yoga, strength training, cardio work outs... the list goes on.

Pilates is also used to rehabilitate the body when weaknesses result in chronic pain and/or injury.  Incorporating Pilates into your fitness routine now can also prevent future injuries as well as enhance your performance.

Certified through the PhysicalMind Institute, I can train you in the Pilates methods of mat and equipment. Mat can be done in the privacy and comfort of your home or it can be done in the studio.  Equipment lessons are done in the studio (on machines by Balanced Body). Equipment exercises were designed to enable those, who currently cannot do the mat exercises, to get the benefit of Pilates. Once the core muscles are strengthened, you can then work the mat exercises.
